You are an eligible applicant for Master’s degree studies if you have a nationally recognized first cycle degree (normally a Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited institution of higher education, your degree corresponds to at least 180 ECTS (European credit transfer system) or to three years of full-time study and your degree is in a relevant field for the Master’s degree programme that you’re applying to. degree programme that you’re applying to.
The Master’s Degree Programme in Information and Communication Technology provides versatile and high quality ICT education in selected fields of ICT, with an established reputation in innovative interdisciplinary and international education. The programme has international double-degree collaboration with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Master School and with the Fudan University in Shanghai, China. In the academic year 2021-2022, the programme offers four specialisation tracks:
• Cyber Security
• Smart Systems
• Digital Health
The goal is to train independent problem solving for demanding research questions and thus lay an advanced knowledge and skill basis for doctoral studies; to train presentation and argumentation skills, both oral and written, as well as search and critical evaluation of information; to develop an ability to engage in a constructive dialogue with related disciplines, and to gain insight into actual research and development work as well as the possibilities and constraints of information security methods in the application domain and in the society at large.
The student must prove his/her ability to do scientific work, management of research methods, knowledge of the research field, and skill of scientific writing.
